It’s the end of the year, as we know it, and I feel fine! 🤣🤪 I hope you got my 90’s R.E.M. reference there. .
#truth ...I do feel fine, but I’d like to include some other adjective feelings in there as well. I feel frazzled and exhausted and SO excited to wave buh-bye to responsibility and wave hola to pool days & ice cream ways. .
I was asked the other day for some good end of the year #teacher #gift ideas. I thought I’d do a quick post of gifts I’ve given recently that I would actually like to receive myself 🤣👊🏻 That’s a good sign, right? .
One gift I’ve been giving on repeat is a beautiful, nice bowl with fresh #fruit . Give the teach something #healthy ! They will get gobs of sugar, give them nature’s sweet. Here are some pics of bowl gifts I’ve recently given. (Tip: #pioneerwoman bowls, colanders, platters...are adorable and fun and perfect. AND...you don’t have to gift wrap anything 🙌🏻) .
Another idea is a #gourmet olive oil bottle with a bag of pasta. Not having to think about dinner after a long, exhausting day of other people’s children...brilliant. 💡 .
Amazon has the CUTEST and QUICKEST gift cards! You buy online, download, print, give. Show me one person who wouldn’t love an #amazon gift card and I’ll show you a person who is living under a rock. .
A plant! Flowers will quickly die, but a plant can be a reminder of you and your child for years to come! I love #thesill and have bought a few gifts from them. .
Other ideas: #gardening gloves and some flower seed packets, gift card to their favorite restaurant or store, a giant pack of their favorite soda, a bunch of school supplies for their next year (Clorox wipes, tissues, crayons, white board markers...), and last but not least...chocolate. Anyone who drops off a bag of #ghirardelli with my name on it is my instant BFF. 👊🏻
