Being a mum is easy, said no one ever!!!! All I ever feel like I have done is fight to be a good mum. After having our first son at 16 years old and all the challenges and stigma that comes with that, then getting married at the age of 20, with 2 boys already here, the challenges kept coming.
Trying to improve our lives and futures by attending college and working meant that I was neglecting the boys...... Staying at home full time was not an option for me, I had too much to offer.
Going onto university and working didn't get any easier, travelling long distances, working shifts, again I heard comments about my parenting skills, none ever good.
So when network marketing come into our lives, plus our first daughter, again from a social standard it was the wrong thing to do..... What people dont see is the love, role modelling and motivation that goes into our family. The boys are older but our daughter is surrounded by powerful independent ladies that show her she can achieve whatever she puts her mind to. We are also working towards a future where the boys have no university debt and nor will our daughter.
Whatever society says about your mothering skills, say thank you and move on. You are fantastic, you are inspiring to your children and most of all you are building a healthy and positive future ❤
