So, I totally thought that working out at 530am would be the equivalent of getting punched in the stomach with a bowling ball, but I was so wrong.
Morning workouts completely change my day in the most positive way possible.
I feel amazing. I eat better. It’s nice starting out the morning working out with friends. It’s a positive start to my morning. My workout is done for the day, and now I can enjoy my evening with my hooligans. It gets my body moving. I start burning calories HOURS before I used to. Those hours add up over the week, so now I am burning significantly more calories just by moving earlier in the day.
And then I get to impulsively text Andrea all day about my workout.
Guys, I got outside of my comfort zone 100% by doing this. I NEVER thought I would ever do CrossFit and I certainly NEVER EVER thought I would workout while my kids were sleeping.
I’ve learned that just when I get comfortable, I need to change something. When I think I have surrendered, I need to surrender more.
