Tempeh With Spicy Sauce (Serves 3)
300 grams tempeh, cut into bite size cubes and then halved
1 1/2 tablespoons nutritional yeast
3/4 tablespoon dried parsley
3/4 tablespoon tamari
3/4 tablespoon onion powder
3/4 tablespoon garlic powder
3/4 tablespoon chilli sauce
3/4 teaspoon sesame oil
3 tablespoons of water
100 grams grape tomatoes, halved
6 basil leaves, chopped
1 small brown onion, peeled and diced
4 cloves garlic, peeled and diced
Juice of one lemon wedge
3 spring onion leaves, chopped
1 green chilli, sliced
Mix A) and transfer to oven for 20 minutes @ 190 C.
Blend B) and cook for 8-10 minutes until fragrant and thick. Pour over baked tempeh.
Serve with basmati rice and salad (four-leaf, grape tomatoes, avocado, broccolini, and green beans).
